Beach House

The lower glass funicular accesses a breathtaking beach house. Over ten years to permit, and two and a half years to build, this waterside residence sits on its own parcel. All materials arrived by an amphibious barge or helicopter.

A stunning great room with a floor-to-ceiling granite fireplace and twisted juniper mantle beckons you on your way to the expansive lakeside deck, perfect for entertaining. The dining room table is made from a 2,400 year old alligator juniper tree inlaid with semi-precious stones – a work of art that seats 12. The entertainment kitchen features large granite counters, Dacor six-burner gas cooktop and double ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, Miele dishwasher, warming drawer, microwave and walk-in pantry.

The wet bar features leaded beveled glass doors, ice machine, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, wine cooler and  liquor drawers. The artistic powder room has birch bark walls. Beefy bi-fold glass doors open up to create indoor/outdoor living onto the impressive lakeview deck featuring a circular water fountain with fire coming out of the water.

The elevator carries you to the lower levels with two themed en-suites—Sugar Pine and Redwood. A laundry room and outside beach deck area with fire pit complete this home.
